Jasper's packing his bags, raising the anchor, and moving to another new ZIP code in mid-July. This time it's six blocks from the Ballard Fred Meyer, and has even more delicious grass to chomp on... and a guest room for all of you who have been using the lack of one as an excuse not to visit.
(Random side-note trivia -- I have yet to live in the same ZIP code twice, despite this being my seventh move within about a five-mile radius.)

Batman is apparently a terror, and needs a lot of room to run around and wrestle with other kitties. In his previous foster home, he was taking on the senior kitties and they weren't liking it one bit, so off he had to go. We're told he's the cookie-cutter copy of Wiley, which should make for some interesting match-ups once he gets over his initial shyness.
So far, so good, and Jasper's also been quite happy not to be Wiley's sparring partner for the past few days, too.

Believe it or not we had sunshine and 70-degree weather here last week. Jasper discovered a new ledge on which to sunbathe.
