Progress continues slowly behind the scenes here at WNY, MN and NB Roots! We've slowed down a bit because I've added my own new leaf to the family tree (a big welcome to Coralyn Voght!), but we have had several new users discover us in the past few months and they have provided a wealth of new information to extend the branches. Be sure to spread the word!

I've just uploaded a huge 1200-person database update, bringing the total number of individuals to over 2700.

There are vast new branches of several lines, including Voght/Vogt, Wnuk, Tomczak, and Zielinski. The media (photos, census records, etc.) will follow soon, I promise, but for now check out all the fascinating new links.

Back from a trip to WNY

I've just returned from a trip to Buffalo, and after a side-trip up to the Niagara Falls library I've got some exciting new information regarding the roots of this Voght/Vogt line in America. Details will be forthcoming, but for now there are several additional lines to track down, in addition to all the older data still to be uploaded to the site (including, but not limited to, about 300 census documents, 500 scanned photos, thousands of yet-to-be-scanned photos and documents, over 100 newspaper articles, family bible pages, book clippings, wills, and much much more!)

Welcome to the new site design!
