From the first time we held you,
and saw your bright eyes
A giant new love burst wiiiiide open
and completely re-defined.
Now a year has passed
my how time flies.
12 months full of firsts
for you and for us.
First coo,
First cry,
First giggle,
First tooth,
Every single second has been worth all the while.
And at the end of this year
filled with so many firsts and fun,
We want you to know how proud and happy we are
Our sweet ‘lil girl is turning the big One.
As Coralyn’s first birthday approaches, we wanted to thank you for all of the wonderful love and support we’ve received since the start of the blog and Coralyn’s birth. It has been very touching and meaningful to be able to share our journey of pregnancy and Coralyn’s first year with you in this way.
We wanted you to know that with her first birthday just a few weeks away, we will likely discontinue posting her photos and news to this site sometime in April.
As she grows older, we want to be sensitive to keeping her photos and info a little more private. As you are probably well aware, technology brings with it a mixed bag of implications. It’s great for (re)connecting with people from all over the world – but at the same time the amount of information available about individuals is pretty incredible.

After the long slow build-up until she learned how to crawl, this one took her all of three days to master. She’s already moved on to working on cruising down the couch.
